He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.
Footsteps in Texas
The witness returned with a friend and camped, heard footsteps by the tent at night, then walked alone across the creek on a foggy morning. He found a footprint, droppings and a dead smell, listened to heavy breathing behind a thicket for hours, heard a vocalization and a stick hitting a tree, then saw a head peering from behind a large pine. He viewed it through his rifle scope, saw teeth, then walked toward the trail as it left on two legs, and it paralleled him back toward camp.

A high school boy took a girl from a large lake party into the woods where they smelled a strong garbage odor and saw a shoulder and arm behind a tree. The girl fled while he threw a rock, then the figure rose tall and a tree fell toward him before diverting. He ran back to the car and learned the area had a history of Bigfoot reports and disappearances.

Fifteen-year-old twin brothers went swimming in a pond when something grabbed each of them underwater. They escaped to shore and watched a hairy arm take a stroke above the surface before disappearing. They noticed a brief musty smell and never discussed it again until telling the guest.

Later the trampoline was shifted about nine feet back and seven feet sideways, a makeshift clothesline gutter was torn off, a rock was heard flying through trees in daylight, and brief strong skunk-like and dead-meat odors occurred.

The guest relays a story about a bushman who was in a forest by a salmon stream. The party smelled strong licorice, found fresh little footprints in sand with water still flowing in, and heard chattering and brush rustling without seeing anything.

After the cousin accidentally fired buckshot, the creature charged, smashed the stand legs, destroyed both guns, and the boys fled home.
