One night the guest joined his mother in the backyard where the family watchdog was whimpering at her feet while staring at cedar trees. He saw the same large outline standing behind a cedar tree. He estimated it at twelve to thirteen feet tall and believed it was the same animal seen before.

A family bought an old homestead where the son repeatedly said little people bothered him in the forest, horses refused the barn, and the barn smelled foul. One evening during dinner the son pointed to a bay window and the father saw a three-foot-tall hairy human-like being by an outdoor spigot apparently chattering to others below. It made eye contact, widened its eyes, leaned back, and dropped from view. The father later found a rock-covered hole in the barn opening to caverns with strong odor, and a neighbor warned that dwarves lived under the old ruined house.

While deer hunting and camped overnight, the witness and a companion heard a very loud yelling-like scream from nearby woods and followed the companion's dogs with rifles. In a flashlight beam they saw a bipedal figure handling the dogs, throwing one, which then turned toward them and fled into trees with crashing brush and a lingering odor. They left the area that night and heard the vocalization again from farther off while packing.

A teenager checking muskrat traps before school with a dog noticed the dog staying close and growling. On a steep bank the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure with a non-human face and a foul smell. As a young teenager bringing cows across a canal near dark, the diarist saw a large bear-like figure standing on hind feet by a sapling 600-700 feet away and felt intense chill. Cows were undisturbed and his father was unconcerned. Next morning with his friend [name withheld] he found a huge bare footprint in wet mud under the sapling, estimated 8.5-9 feet tall using [name withheld]'s height, and nearby found a stick-bed with a strong repulsive odor.

The party rode for hours and charged a group seen from a hilltop amid a strong smell of decay and a mound of victims. Two teenagers exploring an abandoned creamery had the companion climb a ladder to the upper floor, where he reported a foul smell and hairy legs behind a box. Both then heard heavy running overhead with ceiling boards moving, and saw a large hairy figure break through a wall, cross a roof, and appear directly after loading doors blew open. They watched it run away through a cornfield for several seconds until it went over or through a fence and disappeared.

The witness was spending the weekend at a friend's house when the group heard loud high- and low-pitched screaming on a summer Saturday night. Three of them walked toward a field near a river with a flashlight and saw red eyes in the brush while hearing limbs breaking, then ran back to the house. Screaming reportedly continued for hours, and the next midday they found a snapped vine, bark torn high on a tree, disturbed ground, and a partial large heel print.

Family members and visitors have also reported red eyeshine and ape-like figures, and large footprints were found in snow. An investigator later visited, interviewed family members and noted unusual stick and vegetation features in the woods.
