After smelling a rancid odor all day and seeing glimpses, at night in candlelight one witness came face to face at five to six feet with a 7-8 foot tall hairy creature that made a loud robotic ARK bark. They all fled up a hill while it chased and vocalized, later finding the ramp burned from a knocked candle and snacks shredded.

They felt they were being followed and then saw a large bipedal figure moving toward the creek. Frightened, they headed back toward the road and noticed a large footprint in fresh mud along the way.

Two companions on a hiking and camping trip followed grunting and rock-crashing sounds along a remote game trail. Through dense woods they saw bulky upright figures, first taken for a standing bear but judged to be something unfamiliar with a large upper body and no visible neck. After remaining behind the witness for several minutes and emitting a snarling growl, the unseen presence retreated uphill, after which wildlife sounds resumed and the witness left the area.

Two hunters were camped overnight during deer season when they noticed a bipedal figure crossing a moonlit clearing. Shortly after, they heard loud screaming and crashing in brush on the hillside, followed by a log coming down, a strong urine-like odor, and renewed screams. Later, from inside their tent, both saw a very large shadow pass between the campfire and the tent. The next morning they found no tracks but noticed a large log newly present near their vehicle by the spring.

Near the lake opening they heard a loud hollow yell or scream from the far end and felt watched, moving into a nearby bay out of sight. In the bay they encountered a heavy overpowering unfamiliar odor and then left without fishing, paddling quickly back to their vehicle. They did not discuss it until after driving away, and the witness told no one else for almost 10 years.

Shortly after, a companion returned shaken saying something had watched him from across the creek. The witness shone a spotlight across the narrow creek and the group saw a large hair-covered biped stand up, its eyes shining, block the light with its forearm, vocalize, and flee. The men then left for a motel for the remainder of the job.

She heard a loud unfamiliar howling and screaming vocalization that frightened her and her dog, followed minutes later by heavy footsteps outside the window and on the deck plus a horrific odor. She sensed something pacing in front of the window as if looking in before leaving, then heard the same vocalization again and closed the window.

A large figure stood behind willow canes about 10 feet away, yelling with speech-like inflection while stomping, shaking vegetation, and giving off a skunk-like odor. After a few minutes the figure left without the witness seeing or hearing its departure, and she stayed awake until morning.

The father fired a handgun from a loft window and later used a spotlight, hearing something move away upslope but never seeing the source.
