The witness and his son camped six miles down the Lone Star Trail despite warnings. At night after the woods went quiet, something heavy approached bipedally, roared, reached through pines shaking and pulling them, and lunged with huge hands. He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.

They returned after dark and the father dismissed their account.

On his first night researching with the brothers, the visitor stood between vehicles on a reservation road while the group spoke in their language to announce themselves. The group heard bipedal footsteps approach the treeline, roots ripping as a small downed tree was lifted, then crashing as it was tossed toward them. After more talk it walked away in stealth with faint footfalls heard on listening headphones.

During a haunted trail fundraiser in a timber, youths imitating whoops and growls got a guttural growl response. When they lit the area, a creature knocked a good-sized tree over and flipped it end over end toward them, then ran away jumping off a hill with loud heavy footfalls.

After a large rock was thrown on their grandmother's roof, two brothers and one of their sons went to a bank above a dark gully to tell the creature to leave her alone. Something threw an object hitting one brother, then grabbed the other brother's leg and started pulling him down the bank. The first brother grabbed his sibling's arm in a tug-of-war until the grip released.

The witness entered a drawn bow-hunt area before daylight and heard chattering like a samurai movie from two individuals. Calls and flashlight produced silence, then movement split to both sides of the trail as he climbed down. As he left, unseen individuals followed, mumbled, threw rocks and sticks, and struck his truck before rangers moved him to another area.

While sitting in a pipeline field, the witness heard something running where the swamp meets the field. A stick or five-foot branch came flying horizontally out of the tops of tall pines like a spear. He later linked tree-climbing to the creatures.

After dark on top of a mountain the witness tried to descend switchbacks while his dogs kept running off toward whistling, branch-breaking and thrown objects. He felt three individuals flanking and closing in with stomping and an overwhelming sense of dread. He prepared to call his spouse to say goodbye and had no flashlight.

While with family on a trail overlooking water, the witness was struck twice in the face by acorns from an unseen source. Nearby tall grass showed large flattened indentations and a shifting foul odor like rotten meat was noticed. The group also found small rocks stacked largest to smallest before leaving the area.

The witness hiked several miles down the Trinity River and sat on a rock watching for fish on a calm day. A tree snapped and fell across the river in the brush, then a heavy log was thrown from the brush onto the river bar. The witness left slowly up the trail while watching the far side.

A timber cruiser for a paper company went missing in the valley. Searchers sent to find him were chased out by creatures. After a posse formed, one man was killed by a thrown tree and others were hurt, then locals burned a large area to drive the creatures out.

The witness hobbled to a box stand near the pond. Something heavy landed near him though no trees were overhead. He then heard whistling and something pacing back and forth in the thicket blocking his exit until it walked away.
Unidentified sound in Ohio
The witness was parked at night with three companions by a large honeysuckle bush at the woods edge. After hearing branch-breaking sounds, a companion threw a vodka bottle into the bushes and it was thrown back past them into the road. They fled by car, had to move a large branch blocking the road while smelling a foul odor and hearing movement around them, then left and avoided the area.

The witness was scouting for a redfish tournament from a kayak in Florida near NASA property in the early morning. After hearing a large splash, smelling a nauseating odor, jumping wild hogs, and hearing a powerful scream-growl with trees shaking, the witness saw a tall hairy human-like face watching from behind a palm frond. The creature charged to the water's edge about 15 feet away, stopped when the witness raised a paddle and yelled, stared again, then walked back into the woods, leaving the witness physically ill and anxious for weeks.

While cutting limbs alone by the river, the witness took a break after felling three trees. Large branches about three to four inches thick and four feet long flew over thirty-foot trees to land where he had just cut. He grabbed his saw and left, later testing and finding he could not throw such limbs that high himself.

The guest describes repeated nighttime activity while staying at a friend's hilltop ranch property as a teenager. Windows and a concrete wall were banged on, a pine cone was thrown to land in front of them, neat rock stacks appeared, trash was picked through neatly, and large feces were found. He also recalls paralyzing fear that something watched him through a bedroom window.

After heavy rain forced them out, they visited another nighttime area near cattle pasture where animals were said to feed. As they approached closely they noticed a strong odor and had sticks thrown toward them, though the animals remained unseen.
