Campers kept awake by menacing vocalizations all night long 57 miles north of Bangor
The witness and a companion camped in a tent near a pond and listened through most of the night to repeated whoops, howls, whistles, gibberish-like chatter and rumbling from multiple directions across the water and woods. Later something splashed and charged in the water near the tent, followed by loud snorts, breathing, and footsteps on a nearby dirt road, while movement was heard between the tent and fire. The witness searched outside with a light and firearm but saw nothing, and the sounds stopped after dawn.
UFO sighting near Sweden, Maine (2015)
While fleeing down Route 93 at high speed, the brothers noticed a single bluish light behind them gaining distance. The light did not bob, make noise, or illuminate the road like a vehicle headlight. After they turned onto a side road and killed their lights, the light never passed and disappeared.

While fleeing down Route 93 at very high speed, the witness and his brother noticed a single blue-white light behind them. The light kept gaining on them over several hills without bobbling, noise, or illuminating the road. After they turned off onto a side road and killed the lights, the light never passed and was gone.
Howl in Maine
Years before the 2015 sighting, the witness and his brother stood outside their farmhouse at night listening to something moving through the woods between houses. They heard a loud howl they did not recognize as coyote, fox, or bobcat. They tracked the movement by breaking branches across a road to a power line trail, then heard a second much fainter howl from far away.
