Possible wood knocks and tree push while biking near Lenexa
The witness was riding a bicycle south on a wooded riverside trail in the early afternoon. He heard a loud wood knock close by, then commotion in dense brush, and felt he was being watched as the woods went quiet. After riding about 100 yards farther up a hill, he heard a second loud knock from farther away. He reported no visual contact with any animal or figure.
Daylight encounter in a strip mine gully near "Big Brutus" (tourist attraction)
The witness was walking ahead of her husband toward a fishing spot at a strip pit when a very loud screaming began just behind her. She crouched and covered her ears as the screams repeated, then heard the source run, jump a creek, and crash through brush and small trees on the far side. Her husband, who had been following behind, heard the screams and joined her to watch the vegetation move as the creature left. They left the area without returning for prints after rain washed the site.

While throwing a football alone at night, the witness noticed a small head with pointed ears peeking from behind tall hedge bushes and threw the ball toward it after it repeatedly ducked. Later that same night while sleeping near a low bedroom window, a much larger hairy face appeared at the glass, made eye contact, shifted its eyes, wrinkled its brow and opened a wide mouth showing pointed teeth. The witness fled to a parent's room while heavy pacing was felt and heard around the house, then police were called but found nothing. The next morning the witness found large prints around windows and garden, recalled repeated early-morning howls, a growl with a branch breaking, grunting in the basement and a violently shaking backyard tree.

The witness heard something yell outside a large south-side window and heard it leave, covering 20 yards in 3-4 steps into the woods.
Partial sighting in Kansas
After the prior road encounter, while driving on a remote Kansas road early in the morning with dim headlights, the witness saw something cross the road very low to the ground. It moved like a pouncing cat but appeared to army-crawl on tiptoes and fingertips, which struck him as unnatural. He considered turning around to look closer but decided not to.
Movement only in Kansas
While coon hunting at night in timber with a companion, the witness saw balls of light drift across in front of them. They described what they saw to each other and confirmed it. A few minutes later it drifted back by against any wind, appearing as a bluish-white ball larger than a basketball.
