Golfers watch large animal jump from a tree outside Tallulah Falls
Two companions playing golf drove up to the 17th green in the afternoon and saw a tan, 6-foot animal leap outward from a high tree branch nearby. It landed hard with a loud thud that shook the tree and moved into low undergrowth, where it was heard taking a few steps before stopping and staying hidden. The witnesses felt it was too large, heavy, and tailless to be a mountain lion or bear and suggested it could have been a juvenile Sasquatch.
