Sasquatch sighting near Davie, Florida (1974)
About a week after the first sighting, gunshots were heard from the nearby horse stable. The witness rode over and learned a large creature had grabbed a wild horse from behind. The horse kicked free, jumped the corral, and fled while the rancher shot at the creature. Next day the horse showed hand-like pressure marks, not claw scratches, on its hindquarters.

Two men running dogs without guns approached strange barking at a fence. A creature stood up, blocked their lights with a hand, then followed them through cornfields to a field edge before turning back. Next day footprints and a handprint were found in creek mud and trailing dogs refused to follow.

On a southern farm in the early 1970s horses repeatedly became visibly sweaty, panicked and ran the pasture with wide eyes the morning after nighttime disturbances. The family found braids in manes and tails and large handprints in sweat on flanks and necks. A neighbor's similar report helped them conclude Sasquatch-like visitors were molesting livestock.

A farmer found his chicken coop door ripped off with a bloody handprint on it and hairs, footprints and blood left behind. Several chickens were killed without being eaten, and the door was taken to a zoo for examination.

The witness's brother spent the night alone in a camper parked in the driveway. Around 1:30 a.m. he watched a shadow move across the curtained window and translucent roof, apparently cast by a neighbor's porch light, as something slowly circled the camper while lightly tapping its sides. The next morning the family found fingerprint smudges, a large handprint, and large toeprints in spilled sand.

A small research team camped for five days on the Missouri property to document ongoing rock-throwing activity. The witness and a date were parked in a car in the woods on a fall evening when the car shook and a huge face appeared at the driver window at very close range. After starting the car and turning on headlights, they saw the animal on all fours on the passenger side apparently avoiding the light, then dash about 35 feet in front of the car into the woods where it stood up. The creature was described as over 7 feet tall, brown, fast-moving, and left muddy handprints and scratches on the car before the witnesses left for town.

An older woman got up early to warm her car and found a footprint by the vehicle and a handprint on the rear window. She had also noticed small rocks being thrown at the windows. She was advised to trigger the car alarm to scare off whatever was nearby.

A family living at the same location for years reported objects moved, repeated prowler calls to the sheriff, and several sightings of large hairy bipeds. An 11-year-old grandson was frightened by a huge brown figure near the property and for a time would not walk between houses after sunset alone. The investigator found hand-sized dents on a trailer and recorded house knocks during a three-night audio session.
