Follow up investigation to track find in Rathbone
In early August 1995, a couple fishing at a neighbor's pond near Addison found large footprints, hair-like material and disturbed vegetation. Additional prints appeared on subsequent days on different sides of the pond. State wildlife officials and university staff examined casts and samples but did not identify the source.

Driving about 65 mph after leaving a mall, the witness felt a violent impact that destroyed the front end and scattered parts far behind, but saw no animal. He found hairs and blood spots, noticed a wet-dog smell, and an officer suggested a wolf without filing a report. He later wondered it was a juvenile sasquatch.
