Father/son observe "hairy thing" and chase it

The witness and the father were collecting wood for a fire when they heard a loud noise behind them. They turned and saw a large, somewhat hairy figure standing nearby, which then turned and fled. They chased it but lost it across a creek, where they later noticed broken tree limbs with hair on them.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
