Cryptid sighting near Federal Way, Washington State (2005)

Three friends were sitting in a fenced backyard at dusk after playing softball when they noticed two spinning white lights in the tops of tall evergreens. Moments later a small, heavy, furry creature with a human-like face crawled from behind a wheelbarrow, looked at them, then ran uphill on all fours with loud heavy footfalls and cleared an eight-foot shed into the trees where the lights had been. Two of them started to investigate with a shovel and flashlight while the third reported a bright shooting star, then they left to meet friends. They have reported no similar activity at the house before or since.
