The witness was deer hunting from a ground blind at daybreak when a loud grunt and stomp were heard from behind. Turning, the witness saw a tall brown hair-covered human-like figure in brush nearby. The two observed each other for about 30 seconds before the figure turned and walked away.

The witness was night-fishing along a river trail when heavy footsteps approached on the wooded hillside. Shining a headlamp toward the sound caused it to stop, and it resumed after the light was removed. After returning late from out-of-town work in summer, the witness received a neighbor call about a large black figure behind the house. Grabbing a handgun, the witness ran around the house and saw a furry massive figure moving through bushes. A running chase followed across fences, a ravine, garden and barn path to a creek and hill, where the figure pulled away uphill and vanished.

There he encountered a tall, hair-covered figure pulling at the pen wire, which turned to face him before fleeing toward the forest. A relative who ran outside also saw the figure running away. No physical evidence remained the next day after an overnight thunderstorm.
