The next night two of the men returned to a different roadside pull-off in the same conservation area and stayed near the car. After one made whoop sounds, a loud close thud answered from the woods and was captured on both phones' recordings. One heard movement on his side of the car before they left after a few minutes.

Rocks were thrown toward two of them from the woods, strange pacing, a low growl, and rhythmic booming sounds followed them. They found fresh green trees snapped and laid across the trail blocking the path, then were hurried out by more rock throws and close movement before the woods went quiet and normal night sounds returned near the car.

After midnight, heavy human-like footsteps circled their tent and campfire, left, returned, then moved off as vehicle lights were flashed. The witness and a companion were asleep at home when they were awakened around midnight by a thump on a storage box beneath the bedroom window and sensations described as footsteps. The next afternoon they found two lines of large human-like barefoot prints in fresh snow leading toward and past the window, merging into one line before crossing the road toward a treeline. The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. Photos and measurements were taken before melt and wind degraded the tracks.

Two companions were hunting coyotes at night when one was paralleled in the woods by something that returned his whistles. After reuniting they drove toward the house and illuminated a tall shaggy biped in the field below the barn. They watched it briefly in the headlights before it turned and walked into a cedar thicket while their dog chased it a short way and returned.

The witness was camping overnight with companions on a river sandbar. At dawn he went behind a tall log jam out of sight of camp and saw a large dark creature standing where it could overlook the camp. The creature ran away across the shallow river in a couple of steps and disappeared.

The witness was lying in bed in an off-grid camper when surrounding animal sounds went silent. Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. The next day the witness found a large footprint in the gravel near where the sounds originated and photographed it with a tape measure.

Around 2 a.m. he was awakened by extremely loud gorilla-like bellows, howls, and a snarling growl that seemed to vibrate through his body. He heard something moving and circling the blind in the leaves. After it moved off toward the river and vocalized again at a distance, he remained in the blind until daylight.

A large unseen animal approached behind the stand, breathing heavily, sniffing, producing knocks and screams, and pacing before moving west. The witness turned on a headlamp and saw a tall dark figure from behind that grunted and ran along a creek bank into the woods.

Three relatives on a bow-hunting trip were sitting around a campfire at night when they heard whoops, howls, growls and footsteps and saw vegetation shake. After retreating to their camper and later going back outside, the companions pointed out movement by a white oak. The narrator then saw a massive standing creature with its arm against the tree, estimated the next morning at about 7 feet 5 inches.

He fired a rifle into the air, then heard a garbled unintelligible vocalization as the sources moved quickly downhill. He woke the next morning with headache and nausea and left the property.

They felt uneasy and left for the night. The next morning the wife found a very large human-like footprint with partial prints on the shore and kept a broken cast of it.

Two boys were gigging for fish in a shallow river at night when they heard splashing from objects thrown into the water. They shone flashlights across the river and saw an upright human-like creature bring down a dead tree into the river and move in the water. The boys fled to their cabin, and a tree not present the day before was seen in the river the next morning.
