While staying in a trailer with two coworkers late at night, the witness and others heard a female voice crying for help and bare feet running toward them. Something hit the trailer wall and rattled the locked door while the voice continued, then walked away through the woods. Older campers nearby separately reported someone pulling on their tent that night.
Odor near Granbury, Texas
Walking home in the dark the witness smelled a terrible stink and heard slow footsteps approaching in the woods. When he jogged and looked back he saw a huge black mass at a tree archway with reflective glowing eyes. He sprinted home barefoot after losing his untied shoes and stopped visiting his friend after dark.

While walking alone down the dirt road the witness heard branches breaking then heavy elephant-like running steps behind him. Something kept pace with him in the trees with loud nasty huffing wheezing breathing. He ran home hyperventilating and his parents later found a pushed-over trail in the tall grass where something had run.

Three hunters walking out in rain and moonlight felt watched and heard steps above them. The witness hid and scoped a large figure crouching then standing on the hillside. They prepared to shoot, but one companion fled in panic, and the other two held fire because its posture looked manlike, then left to retrieve their friend.

The witness took his children to a burn area to pick morels. They heard a loud high-low holler followed by a heavy tree-impact thump. As they walked out, the witness heard bipedal footsteps following them to the vehicle, then drove away without seeing the source.

The guest was awakened by a strong smell she associated with prior outside activity and shouted not to strike the balcony. She then moved to the kitchen side and heard something moving on the roof overhead. She described the period as a whirlwind of weirdness.

The witness and a companion camped late at night on a trail above a canyon. A tall hair-covered biped came up the trail, was startled on seeing the witness, hid briefly, then paced back and forth in front of the camp for over two hours. It left down the trail before sunrise, and the pair left for Phoenix at dawn.

A couple weeks after the road sighting, the driver met another driver at a secluded wooded parking lot around 4:30 in the morning. Both heard what sounded like a muffled conversation between at least two, plus whistles, which stopped when approached. Loud stomping movements then circled in the woods and grew louder until both left in their trucks.

While in his sleeping bag at camp, the guest heard heavy bipedal footsteps pass his tent. When he tried to get up, he found he could not move his arms and felt calmly immobilized, which he attributes to infrasound.

After midnight in rainy and windy conditions they heard heavy, lumbering footsteps circling their camp at a distance and breaking large branches for over an hour. The sounds paused after they turned off lights and later resumed, and mud prevented finding tracks the next morning.

The following fall archery opener, five hunters camped at the same site and the guest shot a buck in hot weather, butchering it and hanging the inedible carcass across the creek about nine feet up. The witness and his father camped to build blinds and saw three sets of tall red eyeshine outside the fire circle that dimmed when lit. Later something struck their truck camper hard enough to knock items off shelves, then a loud woman-like scream sounded nearby with an answering scream where the eyes had been, followed by movement around the camper all night.

While camped with volunteers for an archaeology project in California, the witness heard something approach her tent at night and felt it touch the tent from top to bottom. She got out to look but found nothing. After re-entering, she heard a bang by her head, concluded it had been in a tree, then heard it walk away over granite.

The witness was solo hammock camping when he heard a duck or goose mauled with splashing, then movement around him in the dark. A loud grunt from up high that felt like it went through him frightened him. He packed up and left the woods that night.

The witness and a friend hiked into Dudleytown to look for ruins and heard something paralleling them that stopped and started with them. After the friend headed back, the witness saw a six-foot bipedal figure with long arms take a quick lateral step behind a tree and disappear. They both then hurried out of the woods.

The witness was scouting remote mountain roads for fishing access when he found a newly placed stacked rock pile blocking the road. After stopping to inspect it, he heard something charge down the steep slope toward him and stop when he drew his pistol, then parallel him back to his vehicle unseen. He returned later with a hunting partner and heard coordinated whoops from multiple positions, and a few days later with a larger group found extensive tree damage, possible structures, and three sizes of bare human-like tracks.

The guest and his then-wife were walking near Notice Creek in Bluff Creek in the late afternoon. They heard slow footsteps in the forest duff approaching below them, then a loud crack and saw a tall tree shake violently. Frightened by the display of strength, they retreated to look from a bridge and later heard the footsteps leaving quickly.
Whoop in Georgia
As teenagers the witness and friends camped and hiked up a reputedly haunted mountain at night to look for a cabin. They were paralleled on both sides, heard whoops and powerful wood knocks and branches being ripped, then a large tree was pushed over close to them and they fled. The running camcorder captured the sounds and briefly illuminated two large almond-shaped red eyes that narrowed and turned away before the tree fell.
Cryptid sighting in Nebraska
The guest's friend was at a Sundance fire when small beings played peekaboo around the horseshoe mound. They popped up on one side, scurried on little feet to the other side, and popped up again. They were described as tiny Indians with feathers, braids and moccasins.
