The being emitted an extremely loud, escalating scream that the witness felt in the chest, then lunged toward the group. The group fled back along the trail without looking back until reaching near home, and did not report the event to family at the time.

In the early 80s the father camped alone at a secluded bow camp and heard something large walk in talking gibberish like a drunk man and root through camp. It circled the tent and pressed a finger down on the canvas, leaving a half-moon cut, then left toward a second babbling voice on the hill. On a later return visit a green aspen blocked the road with no wind and structures were noted.

While lying in a sleeping bag, the witness heard footsteps approach from the wooded side and saw a human-like outline shadowed in a distant campfire glow. The figure bumped the corner of the tent, shaking it, paused as if staring, then moved toward the front where it could no longer be heard on pavement.
