The brothers were hunting deer from a blind with two younger companions when a shot deer could not be found. After splitting up to search a dense thicket at dusk, the group reunited and heard a loud sustained scream from close range at head height. They left quickly without acting afraid and were paralleled to their trucks by something noisy breaking branches. Both adult hunters later confirmed they heard it matching their pace.

Dogs ran toward the woods barking as brush and limbs thrashed along the edge and heavy thumping footsteps were heard. The witness followed the sounds along the treeline with a rifle before returning to the house and confirming a relative next door had not left home. The witness interpreted the sounds and movement as a sasquatch disturbed in the woods.

A semi-truck driver pulled over at a desert highway pullout at night and got out of the truck. He heard rocks falling, noticed a strong decaying odor that became gagging, and saw a large hairy biped cross the road in front of his headlights while making a loud grunt. Frightened, he got back in the truck and drove away.

While bow-hunting deer from a tree stand at approaching dark, the witness saw a dark figure run quickly through brush and across openings, covering in seconds ground that had taken minutes to walk. The figure was described as taller than the witness and black all over with a hump on its back. Afterward the witness left quickly and learned a hunting companion nearby had heard movement but seen nothing, and checkout staff said no other hunters were in the area.

The witness was sitting in a tree stand hunting elk in the late afternoon when the wind shifted. The witness and a companion hiked in and camped for the night near a creek. Around midnight while drifting to sleep, the witness heard a large heavy bipedal source splashing across the deep creek, walking with pauses for about a minute. The companion did not hear anything.

Two companions were fishing from a boat close to shore late at night. They heard heavy two-legged footsteps coming down a wooded hillside and then rushing toward them as they prepared to leave. The unseen source entered the water behind them while emitting a loud snarl and growl neither companion recognized. They left without seeing the source and did not return to investigate.

The witness was on an early spring morning walk along a two-track through swampy woods when she heard movement and saw a large white figure moving quickly away about 50 yards away through dense undergrowth. A tall white-covered creature with dark skin on the face and hands stood nearby with a hand on a tree and was observed for about 30 seconds.
