Early in the morning before hunting, the witness and a companion heard loud chimp-like calls behind them and then again to the side sounding like multiple animals. On another night with night vision, they saw three pairs of eyes peeking over a woodpile.

While sitting at a fire the witness noticed a light-colored figure watching from bushes toward a truck where a young person sat with a lantern. After being alerted, the second man shouted and the figure dropped and belly-crawled, with eyeshine still visible, before leaving.

After hours with no activity the group was at a remote lake when the witness lit large blue eyeshine behind a sapling. A spotlight revealed a tall figure with head and shoulders visible. It turned and walked away while others tried to flank it, and the eye height later measured about nine and a half feet.

While driving at night the witness saw paired red lights cross the road and stop by a sign, then white lights below them, all with a blurry cloaked appearance in the headlights. He believed they were a family group. He later left cookies and other food in a tree crotch, found some taken, and then heard loud thumps outside his house windows.
Eyeshine near Midland County
Friends of the witness were fishing under a bridge by a nature sanctuary in Midland County and, while leaving for their cars in the dark, one reported seeing red eyes about eight feet up in the trees that appeared to swirl. The other friend suggested a bear. The witness was told about it about a month before the show.
