The witness and his father were awakened around 2 a.m. by knocking at their motel door. Looking through the peephole they saw a tiny elderly woman outside, but when the door was opened she was suddenly a football field away. They followed tiny boot prints across a field into the woods for a quarter to half a mile until the tracks abruptly stopped.

An elderly woman repeatedly reported someone peeking in windows, stealing garden vegetables and disturbing property. On one night officers responded to a large figure standing by her porch but found only an elk. She had previously seen a tall dark figure with eyes at window height, leading her to light the property extensively.
