The witness describes recurring strange noises around the family home shared with parents, including window banging, howls around dusk, growls, moans, grunts and rocks striking the house. The source was never seen, and indoor and outdoor dogs reportedly failed to react normally. A dank odor was also noted over several days. The witness was looking after his girlfriend and her younger brother when the locked front door knob was jiggled. After leaving to call police from his parents’ house, he stepped outside with a flashlight and saw a tall off-white muscular human-shaped figure standing in the weedy field in moonlight. The figure vanished when he raised the light again, and he later found the weeds mashed down where it stood.
Memory of 3 hairy fingers sliding under the front door outside Nauvoo
The witness was watching television in the living room at night while a relative worked outside. The unused front door began to move and its knob turned, and three long hairy fingers with long black nails slid under the gap at the bottom for several minutes. When the fingers withdrew the movement stopped, and the relative later said he had not touched the door.
Dogman sighting near Montgomery, Alabama
A man who had been drinking pulled over to sleep in the back seat with the car running. He woke to something pulling the door handle and saw a large dog-like head with black fur and an elongated snout breathing on the window. He scrambled to the driver's seat and drove home, later finding saliva on the window.
