Two hunters hear strange sounds similar to a woman screaming
The witness was hunting with his son in a wooded area in the early morning when strange sounds came from a nearby gully. The sounds started like a woman screaming and were followed by rapid chatter likened to reversed human-like conversation. The witness said the sounds were unfamiliar despite prior experience with local wildlife in the area.
Sightings by two hunters in tree stands outside Elkwater
The witness was deer hunting from an old tree stand on a mountain crest in the morning and dozed off. A strong odor and rustling woke the witness to see a small reddish-brown hair-covered biped below eating discarded fruit. A much larger black hair-covered biped then approached vocalizing, the two interacted and appeared to notice the witness before leaving, and a hunting companion nearby also reported seeing a large upright figure moving fast through trees.

On the prior evening at camp, the witness heard brief howl-like and chatter-like sounds from three sources behind a hill while hound dogs barked in another direction.
