After finding the family dog shaking in a closet, the witness slipped outside to the front of the house. From nearby brush the witness heard two figures conversing in unintelligible chatter. The sound was estimated within fifty yards and the witness believed the figures were unaware of being overheard.

While camping and sleeping in a camper trailer with family and companions, the young witness awoke at night to loud heavy breathing outside her window and indistinct chatter-like sounds moving along the window. She pulled back the curtain and saw a dark-skinned partial face with brown eyes inches away staring in. The sounds stopped shortly after, and the next morning the adults found apples and potatoes missing from the back of the truck.

A couple set up a tent late at night in a small Arkansas river campground and noticed broken trees, a single large glowing eye by the river, then two large eyes watching from uphill. After going to sleep they were awakened by bipedal footsteps, owl-like calls turning to chatter, pebbles hitting the tent, touches to the tent and truck, and movement around camp. The man blew an air horn, they fled in their truck, later returned in daylight to find large footprints and discovered his phone had recorded sounds through the night.
