The guest's roommate was hunting on leased private land about a mile and a half away the same afternoon. The woods were lively then went dead silent for a few minutes while he felt dread and drew his gun. After a few minutes the dread lifted and the woods became active again.

The witness hiked into public land to bowhunt deer from a climber stand. After the woods went silent he heard two wood knocks, then saw a black bipedal figure through timber that vanished. Moments later a very large jet-black wolf-like animal appeared nearby staring at him, stalked toward a cedar thicket and disappeared. While hiking out he heard a deep scream-howl, panicked and ran to his truck and avoided the woods for the rest of deer season.

In November 2022 the witness took a young child deer hunting and sat against a tree on a ridgeline at dawn. After hearing a loud baby-like cry and a heavy barreling sound down the cliff, the witness saw a large black-haired bipedal creature stop nearby, appear angry, then soften, gesture with its hands, back away, and leap up the cliff out of sight. The witness left with the child and later found large marks where the creature had climbed.

Midweek he was called to look at a fence row where an upright form rocked behind vegetation, showing a shoulder and head-like shape. Around 2:30 a.m. on a clear night, the witness was walking home along a road paralleling a river when a strong bad odor and a loud splash drew attention to the water. About 60 feet away, a large, broad-shouldered, dark, long-haired figure stood upright in the river and appeared to be fishing, moving, splashing, and pausing to look around. The witness watched for several minutes while continuing down the road before leaving the area.

The witness was driving at night when movement beside the road caused them to slow, thinking it might be a deer. Up close they described a tall gray hair-covered figure near the tree line with large reddish-reflecting eyes that repeated arm movements before walking into the woods. The frightened witness drove away to a relative's house to calm down.

The husband heard brush movement across a ditch and then saw a hair-covered figure from the chest up watching them from 20 to 30 feet away. After watching for several minutes, the couple slowly left uphill while the figure continued to observe, and the wife also saw it as they left.

The guest and his father went deer hunting in Beaver Creek, separated to different fields, and the guest climbed a stand overlooking woods and a field edge. He watched a 5-6 foot black, upright creature with long arms move quietly by leaping between tree bases and walking logs. At about 75 yards it noticed him, hid behind a tree peeking at him, then used the tree for cover and disappeared, after which he climbed down and left.

While walking out on a remote logging road after discovering flat tires, the witness confronted a black bear that kept approaching despite shouting. A large hairy biped rushed down the hill on all fours, landed in the road and slid, causing the bear to flee. The biped then stood, stared, and bluff-charged twice with loud vocalizations until the witness fled on foot and was later picked up by drivers in a pickup.

The witness was hunting alone in woods in the early morning when a neighbor's dog began barking at an animal downhill. The witness approached and watched the upright animal repeatedly bat the dog away, then saw it look directly at them, growl loudly and start moving toward them. The witness dropped a shotgun and ran home, later returning with a relative to recover the gun but seeing nothing.

In the fall of 1983 the witness rode a bike to a friend's house at the end of a wooded gravel lane and found no one home. He then saw a tall black-haired upright figure tear a limb from a tree and look at him.
