Reports included a couple seeing it eating a dog and leaping an eight-foot fence with the carcass, a dog refusing to pass it, and an animal rescue worker with friends seeing a car-sized cream-grey dog-like creature with a human face approach on two legs.

Early one frozen morning a woman feeding horses noticed them staring at the fence and saw a large figure with a loping bent walk moving along a seven-foot fence line. When it saw her it ducked behind a bush showing head and shoulders above it, then vanished when approached with a dog.
