Strange occurrences outside a home lead to a daylight sighting by a father and son near East Canton
After hearing growls on two prior nights, the witness went with his son on a Friday afternoon to explore the tree line, field, and creeks southeast of the house. During the outing they noticed movement, a foul odor of rotten eggs and flesh, and then watched a large hairy biped standing about 100 feet away swaying and staring toward them. They left without running and heard two loud tree knocks after reaching the yard.
Family experiences strange occurences while fishing Kankakee River
Four people were night fishing when the two who stayed by the fire reported footsteps and brush movement behind them. The witness later heard walking sounds, a grunt/growl from 20-30 yards away, noticed a strong pungent odor, and heard a whooping sound from the same direction. As the group walked out around 12:30 a.m. the witness felt they were being followed toward the bridge. No creature was seen.
Early morning sighting through binoculars while bird watching in Waterton National Park
The witness reports going to the Cameron Lake area at dawn to birdwatch and scanning a scree slope with optics. A large dark-brown bipedal animal came out of a treeline and crossed the slope quickly before ducking behind a boulder and not reappearing. The witness remained about an hour trying to see it leave but did not see it again.
Observation of a Bigfoot eating mussels on the Ninnescah River
A witness walking alone to a river bridge in the evening stopped after spotting a hair-covered figure squatting at the river edge about 30 feet away. The figure kept its back turned for several minutes while breaking open and eating mussels or clams, striking some on rocks. The witness left to get a phone for a photo, but it was dark by the time of return and the figure was gone.

The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.
Growl in Florida (2011)
The witness walked a narrow tractor trail at night to check a hog trap while a companion waited in the car. He heard footsteps, a deep rumbling growl, and smelled an intensely foul odor, then sensed something following and stopping behind him. The companion turned on headlights and saw a very tall, black-haired biped standing close behind him making threatening fist and foot displays. The creature crashed away through brush when lights flashed, and the witness abandoned his equipment and never returned.
Wood knock in California (2011)
The guest backpacked alone into the remote Sierra camp where the Sierra Sounds were recorded to see if activity continued. During the afternoon he heard a loud wood knock outside his tent, and that night he heard chatter, a barrel being banged, loud bipedal footsteps circling, and breathing right beside the tent. After a quiet interval he heard an unexplained electronic sound outside at 4 a.m. He left the next morning convinced the group was still present.
Silhouette in Arkansas (2011)
While road hunting with a spotlight, the witness and a friend spotted eyes and a dark silhouette in a field and the friend shot it with a .22. It did not flee but rocked side to side, screamed extremely loudly, and stepped toward them. They left when another truck approached. Next day they found blood and realized it had stood in a deep ditch, implying tall height.
Sasquatch sighting near Shelton, Washington (2010)
The witness parked to check two close trail cameras and felt strong pressure and dread. After hearing twig snaps and a huffing exhale, the witness looked up to see a tall black bushy figure about 20 yards away by a tree. It ducked to a squat and shuffled quickly as the witness armed the camera and ran to the road, then drove home shaken.

The witness walked through the woods to his deer blind for a late hunt and smelled a foul odor. He saw a large hairy creature with its head in the blind, which stood up and faced him for about 10-15 seconds. After grunting, stomping, and staring, the creature stepped over fences and left into the woods.

The witness shot a deer at dusk and dragged it toward his truck after dark. On the trail he saw a widely spaced pair of large eyes at about his own height that stayed after he fired a handgun into the ground, then left to the side through dense brush with loud crashing. He smelled a foul musky odor and found pushed-over vegetation where it left, felt watched while field-dressing the deer, and later found part of the carcass dragged about 300 yards.
Heavy thuds and distinct rock clacking north of Teanaway Butte (Wenatchee NF)
The witness was hiking alone and sitting on a bluff when he heard heavy thudding sounds like footsteps, followed by rock-clacking sounds from brush about 40-50 yards away. He exchanged rock bangs with the unseen source for about 10-15 minutes, with it mimicking the number of bangs he made. He became frightened as it got dark and returned to camp without seeing the source.

The witness took his family camping on the eastern shore of Cougar Reservoir. In the middle of the night something large approached on two feet from a hill, and he placed himself between it and his family while his partner moved the children to the vehicle. He fired warning shots, experienced distorted hearing and an intrusive thought, then saw a very tall wide black figure stop at the wood line about 12 feet away before he backed to the vehicle and left.
Late afternoon encounter by hunters scouting for deer between Cadillac and Manton
The witness and two companions were scouting for deer season by a creek near a cedar swamp when they heard an unfamiliar low growl. After the witness threw stones toward the sound, they saw a dark upright shadow moving at the swamp edge and rocks were thrown back toward them. Hearing further growls and large branches breaking, the group left quickly for their vehicle.
ATV rider has broad daylight encounter, rocks thrown near Marienville
The witness stopped his ATV on a forest trail to wait for a slower companion. Small rocks began striking the vehicle, and he saw a tall dark hair-covered figure about 70-90 feet away rise from a low position to standing. He watched it briefly as it stood bipedally and then stepped backward into dense woods, after which he left quickly feeling fear and nausea.

The witness stayed overnight at a friend's rural trailer after reports of something frightening dogs and taking raw meat. After a heavy impact rocked the trailer and left dents, and a chained dog's chain snapped, the group smelled a musky odor and later saw a tall gray-brown figure in the driveway under lights. The figure raised its hand after the witness did, snorted, then ran into the woods.
Odor in Oregon (2010)
While wading late in the day, the witness felt hair rise and smelled sudden rancid carrion. A large beaver rushed downstream past him and the sense of something nearby in tall grass intensified. He watched for a bear, then walked to his rig and left without seeing the source.
Close daylight sighting by a fisherman near White Sulphur Springs
The witness was fishing alone from a creek bank when he noticed a persistent decay-like odor. He then saw a reddish-brown female-appearing figure squatting across the creek near a beaver dam, apparently washing something in the water. After watching briefly, he stood and shouted, at which point the figure stood, made a short vocal sound, and left quickly. He returned to camp frightened and stayed there.

While walking alone to his stand in the dark, the witness was followed in the brush line, then saw a huge dark-faced creature that hit a tree. The creature later approached the ground blind and sniffed at the door gap before leaving.

The witness was driving slowly on a rural road late at night after dropping off a relative. After braking for a rabbit, the witness reported seeing a tall ape-like figure running on two legs toward the vehicle. The witness accelerated away while the figure continued advancing toward the vehicle.
