The figure kept walking steadily to the right without breaking stride and turned to make eye contact as the witness passed within about 30 feet. The witness estimated it at about 7 1/2 feet tall with a bulky build, ape-like facial features, and red eyeshine.

Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.
YESTERDAY (08/25/24): Motorist spots a bigfoot crossing rural highway 26 miles southwest of Macon
The witness was driving toward Fort Valley on old Highway 96 in the morning. A large dark upright figure emerged from the treeline on one side and ran very fast across the two-lane road into the woods on the other side, covering the road in a few long strides. The witness slowed near the crossing point but the figure was already out of sight, then continued to the store and later drove by the spot four more times without seeing it again.
Wood knocks heard by hunter near Appalachian Trail 7 miles SE of Hiawassee
The witness was hunting hogs alone on a food plot in the afternoon. He heard two loud wood-on-wood knocks from a mountainside about a quarter mile away, followed about thirty seconds later by a fainter knock from the opposite ridge. He reported no other vehicles in the area and noted there were no roads or trails where the first knocks originated.

The pair left the area quickly and later associated the odor and rock throwing with sasquatch-related accounts found online.

The witness was driving north with a companion late at night when a large figure emerged from a ditch on the passenger side. The figure paused at the edge of the road as the SUV passed very close, with its chest level with the passenger window and its head near roof height. The witness estimated the figure at 8 feet tall or more and described grayish-white coloration and very thick arms.

The witness and his wife were driving at night after visiting a Christmas lights display. A large bulky creature crossed the road in front of their vehicle from left to right and entered the woods. Illuminated by headlights at close range, it was seen by both occupants.

The witness went to a wildlife management area to scout for hogs with his dog. Near water he smelled a strong dead-like odor and then noticed a dark-haired bipedal creature about 80 feet away beside a tree. The creature looked between the witness's shotgun and his face, and after the witness raised an empty hand the creature stepped behind the tree and walked away. The dog had disappeared during the encounter but was waiting at the truck, and the witness felt ill and disturbed afterward.

Four companions were golfing in daylight when they noticed a large dark figure about forty yards away moving up a wooded hill. He saw a long hairy arm and a foot protruding from behind the tree and judged it too large to be a man. He ran to alert his father, but the figure was gone by the time his father reached the window. A later search found no tracks or impressions.

As he came up an embankment he saw a large hairy upright animal standing in the sun about 30-40 yards away and watched it for about 15-20 seconds before speaking to it. The animal then avoided eye contact and left quickly uphill, after which the witness heard rapid knocking sounds like a drum roll from the ridge. He camped there overnight without seeing it again.

On the way back he found a large medicinal mushroom chunk sitting in the middle of the trail where it had not been. Back at his car alone in foggy darkness he heard a single loud heavy wood knock from back down the trail.

After shooting a deer in fall 2013, the witness left his stand to retrieve and field dress it in a ravine. While doing so he heard loud roar-like screams and howls from two unseen sources to his left and right that seemed to converge toward his position. Feeling watched, he quickly dressed the deer and left the area.
