On the sandy bank they saw a tall figure squatting, which stood up and watched them for about 30 seconds before running into the trees, breaking a small tree as it fled. The witnesses returned the next morning but found little sign due to overnight rain.

A very large, wide figure then came into view in the open wash about 20 feet away, walked past them, turned and went up the bank into the woods. As they got closer it turned, stood up and looked toward the car, then took about two steps down an embankment into the woods. A witness went to fill deer feeders in a river bottom in late afternoon and found a feeder tangled in a tree. While investigating, the witness followed glimpses of a shaggy animal through thick cover to a river crossing where it stepped into the open and was seen upright for about 10 seconds before leaving. After it left, the witness heard a loud snap behind and left the area.

The witness was bowfishing from a boat when he noticed an upright, hair-covered entity standing on the bank about thirty yards away. When the entity turned toward him it gave a loud high-pitched scream, then walked away into the woods while the witness watched and slapped the water with a paddle. The witness described the walk as stooped with bent knees and swinging arms.

The witness was driving a truck at night when a dark figure was seen on the roadside appearing to roll on the ground. As the truck got closer the figure stood upright on two legs, moved toward the side of the road, and then jumped up and down while hitting its chest. The witness drove past without stopping and continued on.

In summer 1998 around dusk, the witness and a friend were sitting at a picnic table in a wooded lakeside picnic area when they saw three brownish creatures of different sizes emerge from the treeline near the lake about 40 to 50 feet away. Both individuals observed the creatures standing near the trees. The witness could provide no further detail about their appearance.

The witness was driving on a narrow wooded road in late morning with three young passengers in the car. She noticed a tall reddish-haired figure in a thicket ahead, initially mistaking it for a horse. As she drove closer the figure turned to look at her, then crouched behind a small tree and watched her pass at close range. She kept driving without stopping, and the passengers did not see it.
