Two companions were hiking back toward the trailhead through a gorge when the surrounding woods erupted in loud screaming and whooping vocalizations lasting a few seconds. The sounds seemed to come from more than one nearby source, then stopped abruptly into complete silence. The pair had no visual contact with the source and finished the hike without further incident.

Two companions rode an ATV to a clearing by a lake and built a large fire at night. Over the evening they heard deliberate footfalls, pacing and stick breaks in the treeline about sixty yards away and noticed the woods go silent. After the witness knocked on a tree and made a whoop call, they heard knocks in reply and then a long deep guttural growl. They rode toward the sound without seeing anything, then put out the fire and left feeling watched and frightened.

While riding in the back seat to pick up his father from work, the witness looked up and saw a large silver, chrome-like blimp-shaped object hovering without lights. Sunlight reflected brightly off its metallic surface. He watched it with fascination and says it resembled no airplane he knew.

About two weeks later at 3:30 in the morning the guest sat on the deck steps and heard heavy bipedal footsteps crunching leaves up the fence row. It stepped over a creek without breaking stride. In porch light she saw a large gray-brown hairy portion of its body about 20 feet away, then retreated inside from fear.

About 10 at night in April the guest stepped onto her deck and something behind a tree about 20 feet away roared deeply, loudly and aggressively. Terrified, she ran inside screaming to her son. He cautiously checked but it was gone.

The witness was walking alone along a sandy creek in the woods after a storm. He came around a bend and saw a jet-black, bear-sized figure bent over a deer, pulling it apart with arms. The figure stood up to about seven feet tall with its back to him, and he fled home without telling anyone.

A friend told the guest that while driving toward town, a hairy biped ran across the road on two legs and crashed through a barbed wire fence. Responses approached, then stopped, followed by heavy bipedal steps and rocks thrown from the front on both sides. They threw rocks back for many minutes until a rock came from the direction they had entered, making the guest conclude they were surrounded.

On the second to last night out, the guest noticed an upright shadow behind a large oak tree about 15 to 20 feet away. He could see an arm with long shaggy hair and a hand with five pointed fingers. A rock landed nearby, he glanced away, and the shape was gone without sound.
