That night at camp the witness woke shaking and then became violently ill, vomiting repeatedly for hours while her husband was unaffected. Through the tent she saw a bluish-white light hovering above and moving slightly, in a direction inconsistent with the moon. When the light disappeared the sickness stopped and she could sleep.

Early in a daytime float the witness saw motion on a bluff and first thought two hikers were heading to a cave. She realized both figures appeared entirely brown, with the larger ushering the smaller into the cave and turning its whole upper body to look toward the river. They disappeared into the cave before her husband could see them.
