The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.

The witness was driving slowly at night when she saw about ten wild pigs feeding near the road and a large dark hairy figure crouched beside a boulder behind them watching the pigs. She watched it for about a minute before driving on. She turned around a few minutes later to look again, but the figure was gone.

At dusk in 2012 the witness was sitting alone in a tree stand during archery season. He heard a loud scream from a nearby swamp, then heard heavy footsteps circling behind him where he could not see. An object was thrown through the trees over him and a stone struck the tree he was in, after which he yelled toward the sounds and left for his truck.

A couple on a day trip to a lake house noticed an unusually large footprint in marshy mud beside the dock. They left the dock for a closer look and described a very deep right footprint about 11-12 inches long and 5 inches wide with well-formed toes, heading toward the lake. One witness found his own foot barely sank when trying to recreate the depth, and the pair had no camera and found the print gone on return.

A driver and a relative reported seeing a tall, dark-haired bipedal figure cross a two-lane road in daylight while driving. The figure reportedly paused in their lane to look at their vehicle before continuing into grass and forest. The witnesses reported a strong sulfur-like odor as they passed and later provided additional size and appearance details during a phone interview.

The witness was driving south to work in the dark in the early morning when a bipedal creature crossed the two-lane highway between the witness's vehicle and a truck ahead. The creature took three to four steps to cross, stepped over a guardrail, and walked up a steep hill into brush on the right side of the road. The witness and a relative went elk hunting near Sweet Home, Oregon and split up along an unused skid road. A large limb fell from a fir tree in calm conditions near the witness, and further up the road between berms he felt intense dread with hair standing up and decided to leave. The feeling persisted until he got into the truck and drove away.

The witness was riding as a passenger across a reservoir bridge when birds drew attention to the opposite tree line. She saw a very large, broad, solid-colored figure holding a tree that turned its whole body. She ruled out a bear due to lack of muzzle and head shape, and later found other reports from the same area.

Investigators visited the ranch and found a grove of small trees twisted, including one twisted opposite the others. They also found large human-like tracks near a creek, some very long and wide. A few nights after hearing loud vocalizations at the farm, the witness rode an ATV down the driveway to close a gate. The headlights caught a very wide-set pair of yellowish-white eyes in the treeline about seven to eight feet off the ground, causing intense fear and a quick retreat after closing the gate. The next day the witness found no low branches and no accessible ground to check for tracks, estimating the eyes would have required an approximately eight-foot-tall standing figure.

After resting by day the crew paddled at night back toward base. While shooting the shallow narrow pinch between two lakes a large boxy rock arced high and landed just in front of the lead canoe. The crew paddled to the middle of the lake, tied canoes together, and stayed on the water all night.

On the next night the guide went to gather firewood and heard a very loud scream approaching from thick cover. The screaming repeated about five times close up and about thirteen to fourteen times total, feeling powerful in his chest. He returned to camp where the whole crew had heard it, and they stayed by the fire and slept poorly.

The witness was working in a crawl space beneath a house in daylight when he noticed movement outside. On the last occasion he saw the back of a dark lower leg and foot about 30 feet away moving silently out of view. He described the figure as human-like and estimated its height at eight feet or more.

While working as a perimeter patrol officer on graveyard shift in 2012, the guest watched a white spiral corkscrew-shaped smoke rise several hundred feet from a hillside for 15-20 minutes on successive nights around 2-3 a.m. On the second night three unmarked black Apache helicopters flew very low over the prison toward the smoke, with the middle one completely silent. He reported it by phone to the supervisor and documented it in the official logbook.

Four young people camped by a river in the mountains. During the day they found a very fresh opened deer carcass, returned to find their camp meticulously rummaged including an animal-proof cooler, and found a nearby large tent camp abandoned and dusty. Around 3 a.m. a huge heavy presence breathed deeply, smelled of wet animal and strong body odor, moved around the tents while the forest went silent, terrifying them until sunrise when they packed and left without speaking.
