The witness was driving south on a highway late at night with his companion asleep in the back seat. As he passed the median shoulder he saw a large black upright figure standing close to the car. He could see the torso from ground to shoulder, the arm along the thigh and a lighter-skinned hand, but not the face which was shadowed. He did not stop and reported feeling extreme anxiety and fear.

A tall creature with broad shoulders and reddish-brown matted fur emerged and crossed the road just ahead of the car in a few fast strides. Shortly after sitting down, he heard a sustained higher-pitched howl from one side and a lower sustained response from the other side, neither matching animals he knew. Minutes later while getting binoculars from his truck, he heard a low gruff voice-like sound resembling "Hey You" from close range, then returned to the blind.

While hunting deer in the late morning, the witness found two sizes of barefoot-like impressions in frozen dirt along the same trail. Some impressions showed five toes with no claw marks. The investigator and several companions were walking a grass road at night and made a loud call. A long drawn-out answer came from dense woods that sounded like a flawed coyote imitation. Owls called nearby and the group felt the source paralleled them.

The witness, his wife, and two dogs stayed at the family cabin months after a large fire. At night something thumped the house hard and moved outside while the dogs cowered. The next morning the woods were silent, neighbors reported something stomping around, and acorns and pebbles were thrown toward them near the car.

The witness was away deer hunting while contractors re-sided the home. The contractors reported having rocks thrown at them over two days, with one rock hitting a worker, followed on two later evenings by loud growls from woods only yards behind them. The witness was driving toward Mt Bachelor on a clear cold morning when a very large dark figure crossed the highway in three large steps. The figure moved upright on two legs and disappeared into dense pine forest. The witness's car and another car slowed near where it entered the trees, but the figure was not relocated in the brush.

A bow hunter walking into public land heard a branch snap and saw a small gray-brown upright animal about 78 yards away. The animal stood on two legs but dropped very low when the wind shifted, then disappeared when the witness looked again from behind a tree. The witness interpreted it as a juvenile Bigfoot.
