The large one crossed in two steps and scrambled up a steep embankment where two smaller similar figures were seen from behind walking away. Both occupants saw colors and smelled a strong odor, and the following family also reacted.

They saw a figure standing in the middle of the road while a scream erupted from near an oil derrick about 25 meters away. The boys scrambled into the car and drove away, later disagreeing on details, with one friend reporting a closer figure by the derrick.

He later got repeatedly turned around trying to retrieve his truck and stopped at a farmhouse gate where a large round very white light hovered above and behind the house, making the walls glow.

The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.

A young woman and her boyfriend were frog gigging after midnight near a pond when they heard steps behind them. Across the pond they saw a silhouette stand and slap the water with its hands, then both ran to the truck. She later met the investigator at the pond in the rain to show the spot.
