For about 45 minutes they heard heavy branch-breaking and something moving along the shore paralleling their boat from about 20 yards offshore. His overnight recorder captured clacks, and the next morning he heard five rapid clacks from the recorder direction mimicking his five rapid clacks from the night before.

While with a film cast near Mount Adams, the witness and many others watched a ball of light hover in front of the mountain with heat-like distortion then shoot away. Within about 15 minutes they heard knocks moving around. The next morning they followed tracks about three-quarters of a mile to a small creek where they stopped.

A couple driving farm roads off the grid near Vader passed what looked like a seven-foot stump. As they passed, it spread wings and flew in front of their car, appearing to be an exceptionally tall owl.

They heard movement in three spots around them, then a single extremely loud branch snap like a gunshot from about seven to eight feet up directly behind the witness. Both fled to the truck, where the companion loaded a rifle and insisted lights stay off, and the next morning the area was silent.
