While inside the car, something slammed into the rear and pushed the car so the front wheels entered the water. The driver had to get help pulling it out with a tractor. Family assumed drunk driving, but the cousin insisted something pushed them.

A gray fog rose from the water and chased the four-wheeler down the trail to the tree line. Frightened, she left, and the fog followed her down the road to the tree line where it stopped, and she said she would never return.

On another camping night two people returning to the bonfire thought two companions were wrestling by the fire. A spotlight revealed a large gray figure standing over the seated pair with arms out as if to grab them. The seated pair felt sudden fear and clung to each other crying without seeing it. When lit, it turned, took three steps, and disappeared.

After moving into the grandfather's old house, the family experienced ongoing phenomena. Upstairs sounded like someone playing jacks with bouncing ball and metal pieces, with cold spots and feeling of being watched. Lights flickered and ceiling fans spun with switches off, stopping after occupants apologized for noise. A visitor searched the house without finding occupants who were present.

Four people camped in a van by the lake and walked up a logging trail with torches. The dog ran ahead and fled yelping to the house. Something gray and bulky crossed the trail, then something crashed from the trees, blew out the torch, and loomed over them as a dark mass with outstretched arms. They fled to the van, later heard something walking around and scratching the van, and next morning found scratch marks through paint.

The witness and a friend had a nighttime fire along a mountain road. They heard nearby grunts followed briefly by chattering like primates. The friend retreated quickly to the vehicle while the witness remained briefly, and the sounds stopped.

A loud yelling vocalization continued for an extended period, at times apparently answered from farther away before seeming to approach. Domestic and neighboring dogs reacted fearfully.

Co-workers on the same seismic job reported being followed out of the woods by something unseen. They said the presence paced them, stopping when they stopped and making noise as they moved, leaving them frightened. They radioed a bear alert but later said it was not a bear.

While sitting in a box stand in a hardwood bottom, the witness heard a whistle-like sound followed by whoops from toward the creek and river. He said no one else was down that way. It was the first time he had heard such vocalizations.

After moving back to Ohio, the guest was training martial arts with others along the Cuyahoga River one November night. They heard an incredibly loud howl that scared them enough to leave the spot and train next to their cars.

The next year the guest hiked to Swamp Lake with his young daughter, a friend from Eugene and families while doing wood knocks. On the return near a river log crossing they heard a loud wood knock behind them. After crossing, a large rock thrown from a small cliff splashed 30 to 40 feet away, but nothing was seen.

The host recounted another camper on Vancouver Island whose camper shook violently in the middle of the night, throwing him from bed. He rushed outside to a still-burning fire, found the forest silent, and felt watched from the darkness though he saw nothing.

While sleeping in his van in Alabama Hills, the witness woke at 2:30 AM to bird-like sounds shifting to crickets, then a short wailing whistle. Something pressed against the van and shook it violently while he felt overwhelming dread, pressure, inability to move and hear. After it stopped he dressed, found no tracks, felt watched while leaving, and drove to a populated rest stop.

As a young child sharing a bedroom, the witness woke to see a tall hairy female-like face at the window across from her bed. The figure tapped on the glass and motioned for her to come outside, then moved to a second window behind her head and tapped there. The next morning plants and shrubs outside the first window were found crushed, and her grandfather called police.
Backpacker hears howls and knocks on different trips in Upper Dry Creek, seven (7) miles NE from Boise
In May 2023 the witness camped overnight with four companions at a secluded site off Dry Creek Trail north of Boise. Unable to sleep, the witness heard three long howls from different directions across the valley, described as similar to a known Ohio recording but longer. The companions reportedly did not hear the sounds, and no further howls occurred that night.
Daytime sighting of white creature near Dillon
Two riders on a small bike rode up a forest trail to a beaver pond and encountered a large white-furred creature squatting at the water's edge reaching into the water. The driver quickly turned the bike to leave while the passenger slipped off, glanced briefly, and saw the creature stand up much larger than a person before it disappeared from view. The pair reported the sighting to family members at the cabin but were not taken seriously.

While camping and sleeping in a camper trailer with family and companions, the young witness awoke at night to loud heavy breathing outside her window and indistinct chatter-like sounds moving along the window. She pulled back the curtain and saw a dark-skinned partial face with brown eyes inches away staring in. The sounds stopped shortly after, and the next morning the adults found apples and potatoes missing from the back of the truck.
