They then heard three loud whistle replies over about 20 minutes, each from a different direction, the last from the ridgeline above them. The witness briefly saw the outline of a figure on the ridgeline, which was gone after looking away to alert a companion.

The shape reached up, carried one bag into the woods where tearing and eating sounds were heard, then returned about half an hour later to take a second bag. The pair remained in the truck, then packed up and left to spend the rest of the night elsewhere.

The witness group was in an open field when they heard a howling/growling noise from the tree line. They approached and saw a creature crouched down that then stood about eight feet tall before running quickly toward a swamp. They did not follow into the swamp but found bark shredded from the tree where it had been.

The creature, seen from behind, walked briskly with wide arm swings and long steps toward a treed rocky area. The driver turned back to look again minutes later, but the figure was gone.

The witness was waiting on railroad tracks near Biern, Arkansas for coworkers after finishing forestry line work on a clear warm afternoon. At a track crossing in the distance the witness saw a tall dark figure that turned its whole upper body and stepped toward the witness. After a nearby truck started, the figure left the tracks for the woods in two long steps, and the witness heard unfamiliar growling and vocal sounds. The witness later waited locked inside the work vehicle until coworkers returned.

The witness was hiking with a dog on Dilworth Mountain in late afternoon when they found two side-by-side sets of large bare human-like footprints in melting snow. The dog eagerly followed the scent along the tracks into the trees, which alarmed the witness, who called the dog back and left quickly. The witness returned the next day to photograph the tracks but could not relocate them after rain.

The guest and his brother ran to a young neighbor friend's house to find the friend's father angry because a large locked rabbit hutch had its manipulated locks and doors ripped off. About twenty to thirty rabbits were all dead inside, some ripped apart or with heads ripped off, but all bodies still present.

Over about a year the guest repeatedly glimpsed the female watching from the woods while riding a go-kart, heard whoops, whistles and odd owl-like sounds, and sensed a much larger male whose presence changed the air and who appeared wider than trees behind the tree fort. On dark early mornings he and his brother ran the gravel road to the bus stop while something paced them on either side until they reached the street light.
