The witness was scouting remote mountain roads for fishing access when he found a newly placed stacked rock pile blocking the road. After stopping to inspect it, he heard something charge down the steep slope toward him and stop when he drew his pistol, then parallel him back to his vehicle unseen. He returned later with a hunting partner and heard coordinated whoops from multiple positions, and a few days later with a larger group found extensive tree damage, possible structures, and three sizes of bare human-like tracks.

A couple driving farm roads off the grid near Vader passed what looked like a seven-foot stump. As they passed, it spread wings and flew in front of their car, appearing to be an exceptionally tall owl.

With a full television crew in Oregon, the witness watched what first looked like headlamps coming down a mountain approach to within 70 feet as two white orbs moving at walking speed. From a parked position in a clearcut, he and a friend took turns watching a large upright figure at the treeline edge for 20 to 25 minutes. The guest's uncle was alone on Bear Butte on a multi-day vision quest holding his pipe. While dozing he heard two little voices planning to take the pipe and felt tugs on it. He woke growling and saw two six-inch-high little men with wide eyes who fled into the woods.

New owners of an abandoned property began hearing screams nightly and having trash bags taken from the porch and sorted in a bush by color and type. The female resident reported dark hairy figures throwing twigs, candy bait disappearing from rat traps, and large grass impressions. The guest saw the trackway and droppings and set a camcorder that allegedly captured the theft before his notes and tapes were stolen in a break-in.

While camped above the ocean in sleeping bags, the guest and a friend watched a huge black craft shaped with a curved front and narrow neck move jerkily north. It projected a black beam and instantly jumped to that spot. It crossed over Kings Peak, dropped into a creek drainage, and disappeared.

A fisherman listening to elk cross Redwood Creek heard a much larger bipedal splashing that never lost footing in deep water. A huge muscular sasquatch emerged from fog about thirty feet away, gave him a contemptuous look, then walked to where the elk exited and followed them back into fog. He fled back to report it.

While far offshore, the crew heard excited radio traffic from other boats and then saw a blue ball of light travel across the sky lighting the horizon. It moved from the east past Mendocino and Sonoma out to the Farallones where other fishermen said it entered the water still glowing. The guest could not tell if it was natural or crafted.

While the crew sorted shrimp on deck in fog, the skipper came aft and said a sea serpent had swum parallel to the boat about fifty feet away. He described locking eyes with it, noting undulating humps and drum-thick body before it returned into fog. The guest was nearby but missed it while working.

The witness was riding in the back of the family car after collecting river water when a large hairy figure stood up from a roadside ditch about 20 feet away and watched the car. The figure was described as [name withheld]-sized with long brown and gray hair and a mostly human-like angry face. The witness told the parents in the car, who dismissed the report.

A group camped in a mostly dry creek bed high in the mountains. Around five in the morning the witness and another camper awoke to rock clacking in the creek. They later found prints described as clearly non-human in proportion and stacked rocks, with photos said to exist.
Movement only near Port Townsend, Washington
While elk hunting, the witness and a companion made camp on a widened logging road at dusk. They heard movement in three spots around them, then a single extremely loud branch snap like a gunshot from about seven to eight feet up directly behind the witness. Both fled to the truck, where the companion loaded a rifle and insisted lights stay off, and the next morning the area was silent.

While scouting separately from a companion, the witness walked past a closed gate into clearings and felt uneasy about continuing. While walking back, distinct bipedal footsteps followed, stopping and starting with the witness and moving fluidly through dense trees.
