Three people camping overnight near a creek reported prolonged howling in the evening and a close loud scream during the night. Through the night they heard movement around the tents, sticks hitting trees, branches breaking, and had objects disturbed including a tent stake pulled out. They also reported white eyeshine, a pungent odor, a dark figure seen in the treeline after daylight, and footprints and torn branches found in the morning.

The witness was hiking alone in dense forest in the late afternoon when the woods fell silent. He heard rustling and grunting and saw a tall hair-covered creature standing near a tree about 50 yards away, then saw it again about 20 to 30 yards away while walking back. ATV riders find possible tracks outside Evarts
Four men riding 4-wheelers in thick forest saw a black bear on an opposite hillside and rode toward it, but the bear disappeared into deep woods. Stopped at the hilltop, they noticed four large human-like footprints in fresh mud heading up the trail in a different direction from the bear. The prints were described as very large with a big toe and a few smaller toes and a long stride. Hunters in the group said the prints looked like Bigfoot prints and differed from bear tracks.

An investigator hiked with two companions to the top of a rocky ridge at night to look into recurring activity. While the companions scanned with night vision and a camcorder, the investigator illuminated a sasquatch-like figure standing close below the rocks with a headlamp and watched it withdraw and walk away. The companions recorded eyeshine in the opposite direction, suggesting a second animal, and the group heard footsteps following them as they descended. They later reviewed the tape and confirmed eyeshine had been recorded.

The witness reports repeated encounters over three to four months near the family home involving a large bipedal animal that is not a bear and has a very strong bad odor. Dogs are frightened by it and horses become agitated when it is close, and some livestock have been lost. The witness was riding on a four-wheeler in a creek at dusk with a companion. She glanced to the side and saw a large light-brown furry figure standing in tall cane weeds about 15 to 20 yards away. When she looked again, the figure turned, crouched down, and moved away from her.

The witness was driving home with her young son in the late afternoon when she saw an upright figure crossing the road ahead. As she got closer, the tall figure covered in dark reddish-brown hair leapt over a ditch and fence and ran very fast across a field into the woods. She was frightened by the encounter and drove quickly home past the woods.

The guest and his best friend fished at the uncle's lake then dug for fossils at the high wall. Rocks were thrown at them from a ravine, then heavy footsteps paced them behind tall reeds. When they reached the truck and turned on headlights, an 8-9 foot upright grayish-black figure ran from behind the reeds up a steep hill in seconds and disappeared.

The witness reports standing in a front doorway changing a bulb when a popping sound was heard and cats ran toward them. About a minute later the witness saw a very tall, light-colored, muscular creature walking calmly in the ditch across the highway behind the mailbox. A deer hunter in scent-masking clothes and a ghillie suit was set up on a rock overlooking a saddle at daybreak. A large dark ape-like animal threw a stick that landed behind him, then charged after he shouted and pointed his muzzleloader. He fired in front of it to deter it; it stopped, stood, grunted, and a smaller one emerged crying before both left. He abandoned his gear and found it ransacked the next day.

In July 2006 around 4:30 a.m., the witness was riding a motorcycle to work when they noticed a large hairy creature squatting beside the road near a sawmill. They passed within about four feet and looked at its face and eyes for a few seconds before continuing, too shaken to stop. The witness described the animal as unlike any known animal and human-like in appearance.

In July 2006 around 9:30 p.m., the witness was walking from the garage to the house when a loud unfamiliar screaming was heard from the hollow at the back of the property. The scream was heard again about 30 seconds later. The witness said it was unlike coyotes previously heard and that it sent chills down the spine.

The witness was driving an ATV with his brother as passenger along a wooded ridge trail at dusk to check a soybean field for deer. The passenger noticed a tall white figure to the left of the trail, and the driver stopped within about 50 yards to look at it. The two stared at the figure briefly before the driver looked down at the ATV controls, and when he looked up the figure was running away through the woods.

The witness and a companion were riding an ATV along a river at dusk. The witness noticed movement across the river about 75 yards away and saw a reddish-orange quadrupedal animal with a pale face that looked toward him before climbing over a downed treetop and disappearing. He tried to film it but captured only the shaking branch. Deer on the witnesses' side of the river would not cross the water.

The witness was driving to work in the morning while watching for deer. From the road the witness saw a tall black-haired figure standing at the edge of the woods in a creek bottom area watching the vehicle pass. The witness slowed but did not stop, and the figure remained standing without acting aggressive. The witness has watched for it since but has not seen it again.

The witness's husband and another adult were sitting with boys camping in the woods on a moonlit night when the husband noticed a figure moving between trees, with moonlight visible between its legs. The group left the woods, and the next day the witness found footprints and poured a mold of one, plus other ground and vegetation signs. The investigator later reported the couple described a seven-foot-tall, wide-shouldered creature with a cone-shaped head and no neck.

In April 2005 the witness was looking out a doctor's office window toward a rock cliff when he saw a tall, thin brown creature. The creature walked slumped over on two legs, moving three times between the cliff edge and the treeline before disappearing. A second person in the office also saw it, but it was gone before others could be shown it.

Shortly after arriving at a secluded cabin, the 17-year-old witness and his best friend took a paddle boat onto the five-acre pond without lights. Near a dark cove they approached a huge dark figure on the shore. As they realized it had broad shoulders and a head with no neck, it lifted its leg and caused a huge splash, and they paddled frantically back to the dock.

Around 2:30 a.m. on a clear night, the witness was walking home along a road paralleling a river when a strong bad odor and a loud splash drew attention to the water. About 60 feet away, a large, broad-shouldered, dark, long-haired figure stood upright in the river and appeared to be fishing, moving, splashing, and pausing to look around. The witness watched for several minutes while continuing down the road before leaving the area.
