Late at night the witness stepped outside the house and heard a low, loud whooing vocalization coming from the river bottoms that lasted about a minute. As soon as the sound stopped, neighborhood dogs and distant coyotes began barking and howling at once. The witness stayed inside that night and found nothing further when checking the tree line the next morning.

The witness was camping with two relatives at a campground near a lake in pine forest. Around midnight they heard loud whoops and screams coming from the southwest near the lake. The witness was camping with kids on Oak Creek in July 2005. On two nights after 10 p.m. the witness and her daughter saw a short grey slender shape dash behind trees and run toward cover near the river, followed once by a thud and high-pitched shrieks. The family also heard patterned rock clicks and nearby walking and breathing, and noticed a skunk-like odor. The family became frightened and packed to leave.
Twilight vocalizations heard near Lake Mary
The witness was camped with his wife along FR 124 east of Flagstaff. While on an evening walk he heard a brief coyote chorus followed by two mid-pitch "AH,OO" calls from farther in the same direction. After returning to camp he heard additional "AH,OO" and high-pitched "WOW" calls from the same direction, totaling six odd calls, then heard nothing more by 9 PM.

The witness was fishing at a lake spillway in the afternoon when a basketball-sized rock flew through trees from an upslope hill to the east and landed in the lake. Birds that had been chirping went quiet, and another nearby fisherman who also saw it left. The witness later smelled a strong skunk-like odor upwind.
Camping couple hears loud nighttime vocalizations near Knoll Lake
The witness and a companion were camping and sitting by a campfire at night when they heard a series of 12 loud, clear screams from the east. The sounds were estimated at 1 to 2 miles away, with the final two sounding pained and different from the rest. The witness felt the sounds matched no known Arizona wildlife and later found them similar to recorded Bigfoot vocalizations.

The witness was driving with a companion late at night when they noticed a large greyish hairy figure standing by the road watching their vehicle. When the truck got within about 20 to 30 feet, the figure turned and ran rapidly across a field with long strides. Both occupants were frightened and kept driving without turning back to look again.

Two companions were archery hunting from a portable blind at a water hole. After sunset while taking the blind down they heard a loud high-pitched scream from about 200 yards to the northwest, repeated twice with the last lasting longer. They did not see the source and decided to leave the area.
Possible late night sighting along US Route 93 near Kingman
The witness and a companion were driving on a highway at night during a long-distance move when headlights briefly illuminated a light-brown bipedal figure standing motionless a few yards off the road. The figure showed reflective eyes and appeared larger than the witness, in a stance as if about to cross. The witness initially said nothing, but later the companion independently mentioned seeing a bigfoot at the same location.

The witness was driving slowly on a dirt road at night while looking for a place to camp when an ape-like animal crossed the road in front of the vehicle. The animal moved briskly from left to right a short distance ahead in the headlights, then bent down behind a bush or small tree as if trying to hide. The witness watched it for only a few seconds and later camped a short distance away.
Nighttime sighting by motorists on Hwy 87 in Jacks Canyon, 30 miles south of Winslow
On Christmas Eve 2000 two people driving toward Winslow on Highway 87 passed a tall hairy figure beside the road near Jacks Canyon. The figure was seen in the headlights from about fifteen feet away and covered its face against the glare. The driver turned around to look again, but the figure had left at high speed into a nearby canyon, leaving long barefoot tracks in snow.
Father and son hear unidentifiable sounds
The witness stopped with a child by Sunset Crater to look at lava formations while driving from Phoenix to Utah. From the pine-covered slope above them they repeatedly heard loud, breathy huffing. They saw nothing because trees blocked the view, and video recorded at the time did not capture the sound. They left uneasy without identifying the source.

The witness was staying alone in a trailer and went uphill to check what triggered a house motion light. He reports seeing a giant upright human-like silhouette near the house that made a loud howl/scream/growl directed at him before turning toward the forest. He ran back to his trailer and found no clear footprints the next morning due to dry ground.
Midnight vocalizations disturb camping family near Mormon Mountain
The witness was camping with family in old-growth pine forest on Mormon Mountain east of Flagstaff. After going to bed around midnight, repeated whooping yells were heard approaching within about 100 yards, circling the camp, then moving away over about ten minutes. The witness, a lifelong hunter, said he had never heard such sounds until later hearing similar vocalizations on a research website.

The witness was playing in the snow with relatives after pulling over on a mountain road near Jacob Lake and the North Rim. The group heard a loud yelling-like sound, then a second loud, clear, deep howl that the witness compared to a reference howl. They left the area quickly without seeing what made the sound.
Two hunters hear strange screams
The witness and a family member were trying to sleep in a camp trailer during an archery deer hunting trip when they heard loud, piercing, wavering screams from the woods behind the trailer. The screams occurred three or four times and did not match any familiar animal sounds. They inspected the area the next day but found nothing unusual.
Husband,wife and nephew observe a bigfoot cross the road
About 1998 the witness was driving west with two companions when they saw cars swerving ahead. In the headlights they watched a large dark-haired biped take a very long step across the road, cross a canal and continue onto a golf course. The driver turned around to take a different route while the companions identified the figure as a bigfoot.

The witness's wife woke in their camp trailer around midnight to prolonged laughter-like vocalizations she first mistook for another camper before becoming frightened. The husband slept through the sounds and initially dismissed them as animals. Months later the wife heard alleged Bigfoot chatter on a television program and said it matched what she heard on Mt. Graham.

Three companions camping on Mt. Graham heard a loud unidentified scream two or three times around 10 pm. Later that night around 2-3 am they heard heavy bipedal footsteps in pine needles moving behind their tent, but saw nothing when they looked out. No tracks were found the next morning due to pine needle cover.

Years later the witness and his father were driving at night and noticed unusual lights. They pulled off near South Mountain and watched a huge silent boomerang-shaped craft pass overhead blocking the stars. The lights later faded one by one.
