Hundreds of tracks found near Peace River
Hundreds of very large footprints were found in hard river silt and followed for about two miles up the riverbank and into dense bush. The maker reportedly dug with its toes on a hillside climb and grabbed trees, uprooting smaller ones. The account was relayed by a relative of the tracker, with a track photograph later reported to exist.
Nighttime encounter by three brothers in northern Alberta
Three boys were herding cows home at night when the cows and dog fled near a granary by a ravine. They ran around the building and came face to face with a tall, dark, fur-covered human-like animal holding grain that stared at them briefly. The animal then turned and walked quickly on two legs into nearby bush. The boys later verified the wool coveralls were still at home and that a neighbor had not been on the property.

The witness was solo backpacking in the North Boundary area of Jasper National Park in 1987 or 1988. Near midday he found several very fresh, large human-like barefoot prints crossing the muddy trail at an angle from dense bush toward a bog. He estimated they were less than an hour old but took no photos and continued hiking, later concluding they may have been sasquatch tracks. He reported nothing else unusual for the rest of the trip.

Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.
