Late in the day in dark rainy conditions, they observed a large upright figure from the van and recorded it with a small camcorder. They watched a light moving like a satellite that stopped, changed direction, bounced around the sky, then accelerated away much faster. About 10 to 15 minutes later three dark, quiet, unmarked helicopters flew low over the house toward the light's direction.

One tethered horse was so frightened it jumped over another horse. The witness concluded the figure could not have been a bear because of the sound it made and the way it ran.
