Four teenagers were bedded down in a small wall tent during a hiking trip when they heard heavy footsteps circling the tent three times. The steps brushed against the tent fabric without tripping on the supporting ropes, and no flashlight was seen in the darkness. The group was frightened and stayed inside the tent without going out to look.

He turned on a headlamp and the movement stopped behind a tree about 30 feet away, then silence followed while he lay paralyzed with fear before eventually falling back asleep.
