The witness retrieved a gun, then three loud knocks or bangs sounded on the side of the shed. The spouse backed quickly away from the shed and wooded area, and they saw nothing upon looking around.

A couple driving north on a highway in the morning reported seeing a large, apelike bipedal figure moving slowly south through a palmetto and scrub field near a highway billboard. The sighting lasted only a few seconds at highway speed. Their impression was that it was tall and uniformly brownish, with brush coming up to its thighs.

The witness repositioned the vehicle to shine headlights and glimpsed a large bipedal figure vaulting a barrier and descending an embankment. Afterward the witness found fresh muddy footprints crossing the road and lot on the same path.

The witness was at a wooded church camp at night when a tall black-haired biped trotted across about 50 feet away for about seven seconds. The witness noted a dome-like head, very large shoulders, and long arms hanging straight down while the shoulders twisted with movement. About a minute later a strong foul odor was noticed, followed minutes later by a series of loud hoots. The next morning the witness found large human-like barefoot tracks in sand.

He viewed it in left-side profile for only two to three seconds as he passed, noting its tall lean build, long arms, slouched posture, and thigh hair. When he checked the rear mirror it was gone, and a return visit the next day found only a well-used trail.

The sound began as a low roar and rose to a high-pitched primal scream, lasting about six to seven seconds and repeating four times over about ninety seconds. The witness reported lifelong outdoor experience in Colorado and said the sound matched no known animal and caused a chill. No animal was seen.

The witness looked up and saw an upright honey-brown figure standing sideways with its head down, banging large rocks together. The companion did not see it, and when the witness looked back the figure was gone. The witness became frightened and asked to turn back.

The witness looked through a gun scope and saw a large black hair-covered creature 30 to 40 yards away running away through dense brush like a person with arms raised. After it went out of sight the witness sprinted back to the truck and left.
