Two occupants of a five-person vehicle reported seeing a brown upright figure beside a wooded road while driving back from fishing. The figure was described as dropping straight down to a crouch behind bushes as the vehicle passed. The view lasted only a split second and the group did not turn back to investigate.

While watching that bank, the witness saw a bipedal figure move through a clearing for about three seconds from about 25 yards away. The figure was described as barrel-chested with no neck, first thought to be a man but then interpreted as having a sasquatch profile.

The witness was walking back from the mailbox in the afternoon when she heard deep man-like grunts and thumping from a brush thicket beside the driveway. She saw part of a large reddish-brown fur-covered animal, hunched over and rubbing or pounding its head or shoulders on trees. When she moved to get a better view, the animal ran toward her growling with heavy footfalls, and she fled to the house as it hit downed trees and stopped at the brush edge.

He described the animal as over seven feet tall, heavily built, with long muscular arms and no visible neck.

She heard a low grunting or growling sound and then saw a pair of slanted eyes and a hairy head staring at her from a few feet away in the dark. The witness was horseback riding on a pine-forest trail with her mother when her horse tensed and bolted. She turned and saw a tall, dark, upright figure behind a log that then ran toward a field. Both horses galloped uncontrolled back toward camp, leaving the riders shaken. She estimated the figure at 7-8 feet and said its proportions did not look human.
