The creature moved with an ape-like lope, looked toward the witness, then crawled down the bridge embankment into the shallow creek and disappeared. The witness ran to the creek but found no trace.

The witness was sitting in a kitchen with relatives in the afternoon when they saw a tall hair-covered biped moving very quickly through weeds at the edge of the yard. One relative also saw it. The group then went outside and saw it again in the yard as it dashed behind a storage building and disappeared toward a fence, fields and woods. They were frightened and did not look for tracks.

In 1984, the witness and a relative were driving slowly on a dirt road west of Ottawa at night to find a spot to set up a telescope. After watching for about one to two minutes, they turned and ran back to camp without seeing what it did. Poorly defined pushed-in depressions were later noticed in soft gravel and sand in the general area.

The witnesses struggled to control their horses and left the area without returning.

At dawn they found the food cache torn down and learned another nearby camp had also been raided.

During a multi-day school hiking trip, the witness was with the lead group returning along a beach when a large black hairy biped was seen at a stream, bent over and reaching into the water. After the group watched it move toward the ocean, someone shouted Bigfoot, at which point it stood upright, looked at the group briefly, then walked back into the forest. Teachers later told students it was a naked camper and told them to drop the subject.
