The witness saw a very tall, shaggy, human-like creature running alongside the car for a few seconds while noticing a strong unpleasant smell. After the companion returned they found only indistinct marks and disturbed vegetation, then heard a single loud crack like wood being struck and fled the area.

They stopped about 50 yards away and watched it turn to face the headlights, pause and look curious, then take a step toward the car. After the companion screamed it strode into the forest in a few strides, and the pair drove widely around the spot and left the area.
