Sasquatch sighting near Fairbanks, Alaska (2003)
While driving down from a remote mine after an extended shift, two occupants noticed what looked like a burnt stump in a fenced slurry pond valley that began walking upright. They watched it take about ten steps before it entered the treeline, noting a tall dark form with long thin limbs. They were too exhausted to report it and continued home.

Campers' encounter just after dark in the Wrangell - St. Elias National Park and Preserve
The witness and a companion had made camp for the night off a trail. While standing on the trail smoking, the witness saw a large dark upright form that was first mistaken for a person on a bicycle. After calling to the companion and looking back, the witness saw it move quickly into the woods on two legs. No trace was found the next day.
