At night something threw rocks at them, then after a warning shot it made a very loud scream and crashed through trees. The next morning a healthy tree blocked the road and they saw two large hairy bipeds watching from a treeline before leaving.

After dinner the two children left camp to search for the father and reached a forest road clearing with birch trees. They watched a small thin dark-haired figure climb down a tree, screech, run on all fours, toss a stick, then continue bipedally behind a tree and disappear as the woods fell silent. They returned after dark and the father dismissed their account.

The witness was alone in an inner tube fishing under a full moon when he felt dread and heard a scream and bushes moving. Several large mesquite trees were shaken from the base at once while he felt rumbling pressure in his chest. He kicked to shore, abandoned his gear in waders, and drove out through brush.

A wildlife official suggested a panther though none had been reported for years. He watched a large black hairy biped walk effortlessly up a steep hill toward him, sniff the air and make eye contact for several seconds before walking away over the hill. After it left he heard a loud high-pitched scream in the distance, felt watched while leaving, and vomited once clear of the woods.

The witness lived for two to three months in a rock overhang above a canyon stream, fishing with traps and hunting small game. A large hairy creature repeatedly raided his fish traps, exchanged rock throws, accepted camp bread, used a larger trap left for it and took deer remains. After an ice storm the witness developed severe pneumonia with high fever and could not tend his fire. He reported the creature looking in on him, leaving meat, a headless rabbit and herbs he boiled, then carrying him down the canyon over hours or days until a couple in a converted school bus found him and got him to a hospital.
Whoop near Little Rock, Arkansas
After arriving late and unloading the car the husband jokingly let out a loud whoop. An answering whoop came back immediately, followed by a gut-wrenching chest-felt scream. The group ended the exchange and went inside.

The driver grabbed a pistol, struggled with it, fired through the doorway, and saw at least two figures before slamming the door.
