The witness and companions were hiking back on a moonlit trail at night when they heard what sounded like bipedal footsteps following them in the brush and felt small sticks and pebbles thrown at them from out of sight. They stopped to rest by the riverbank and heard a low bass-toned growl. They never saw the source, but the witness concluded they had been stalked by a Bigfoot.

A large rock splashed into shallow water about five feet in front of them after traveling about 30 yards from a steep bank with no roads or trails. The witness and two companions were camping at a remote lake past Bumping Lake. After nightfall on their final night, they heard single rocks striking and bouncing down the rocky slope about 60-70 yards from camp, repeating in different spots. In June 2001 the witness's children discovered large footprints in the field behind the family mobile home and photographed them. About a week later the children heard something running across the hillside while playing at the creek, and the family dog chased it and later returned covered in slime. The children later encountered large rocks rolling toward them on the hill, and the witness heard a loud prolonged growl, with a horrible unidentified odor lingering after the hillside activity.

Four people camped overnight in a remote pine forest after hiking all day to the spot. Around 1 a.m. large rocks began falling around their tents for several hours, despite no cliffs or steep grade that could explain natural rockfall, accompanied by very loud branch cracking. The witness got up repeatedly to look but saw nothing that could explain the activity, except a deer that stayed in camp until the disturbance stopped.

Two companions paddled a small boat up a remote swampy creek in the late afternoon. A large rock was thrown from the wooded bank and splashed into the creek ahead of them, after which one of them fired warning shots and they turned back. As they paddled back after dark, they heard heavy footsteps in the woods that stopped when they stopped paddling and resumed when they paddled, continuing until they reached the road.

A group was camped in a forested valley and spent the afternoon and night sitting and talking. They heard knocks from a nearby ridge followed by small rocks thrown toward camp, some hitting a tent. A deer came within about ten feet of the group in the evening and remained nearby all night, at times appearing alert toward the woods. The group did not report seeing a creature.

Two sisters were present for the rock incident, and the witness reported repeated rock-throwing at that embankment and occasional feelings of being watched.

The witness was driving north and pulled off near Edgewood to eat and nap in the parked car. The witness awoke around 1:30AM to a rock hitting the hood, then turned on the headlights and saw a tall chocolate-colored creature watching nearby. After about 20-30 seconds it walked away into brush in a few long strides, and the witness left and later contacted authorities.

The witness was catfishing with his father, wife, uncle and cousin at a rock levee. Rocks were repeatedly thrown from the levee top only when someone was near the fish stringer. When he turned, the group saw a very tall, very wide female creature holding a tree and throwing rocks while grunting and swaying, then they fled to the truck and left all gear.

Around 2001 the witness and a companion hiked Heather Lake Trail in the late afternoon as the last hikers on the trail. While taking turns stepping away to urinate near the top, each had a rock thrown at them from an unseen source. As they hurried and then ran back down, they heard heavy stomping and breaking branches moving parallel to them, and another rock was thrown after they briefly hid behind a tree, prompting them to flee to their car frightened.

The witness, suffering back pain while elk hunting, crawled to a sunny clearing and rested against a low stump. For over an hour, softball-sized rocks were thrown from the treeline at intervals under a minute, striking trees about eight feet up and landing nearby, with no other noise. The witness radioed his brother, who arrived and jointly watched the rock-throwing continue for about 30 minutes. Afterward they searched toward the source but found no tracks due to rocky ground and saw no thrower.

Three college roommates hiked to the Thompson River to fish and camp overnight. After dark they repeatedly heard a childlike crying sound from a nearby ridge, had small river stones tossed into camp, and later heard loud knocks alternating with the cries. During the evening and night the group repeatedly heard unidentified noises and guttural patterned calls that seemed to get responses from farther away. In the morning the companions briefly saw something near bushes that froze then moved into shadow, and the group stopped after hearing a rock crash nearby. No footprints were found on the hard ground.

Three teenagers were fishing and cooling off in a creek when something crashed down the steep hillside, threw a rock between them and screamed and roared. They scrambled to the bank and saw a large hairy human-like creature at close range making a display, tearing up ground and showing its teeth. They fled, leaving all their gear, and never returned.

The witness and spouse were hiking uphill in heavy snow when they found about a dozen very fresh, large barefoot-like tracks crossing the slope. As they examined the tracks, nearby foliage shook as if an animal was present, and they felt sudden fear and decided to leave. While descending about 300 yards, small pebbles were repeatedly tossed at them from behind, striking the witness in the back without injury until they began to run.

A large college group camped late at night in a remote, densely wooded rocky area. After midnight they heard large rocks being thrown into and around a nearby stream and loud wailing, howling and grunting sounds that grew closer when the camp was loud and receded when quiet. After confirming all members were present, most of the group left early while about 10-15 stayed quietly until dawn as the sounds grew more distant.
