About a week later the children heard something running across the hillside while playing at the creek, and the family dog chased it and later returned covered in slime. The witness was climbing a steep ridge before dawn with hunting gear when his light revealed three or four sets of yellow eyes about 60 yards ahead. One set rose vertically and maintained eye contact as the group moved off across a hollow without showing deer traits like a white tail or snort. Shortly after, a heavy object landed near him, which he later interpreted as thrown, followed by guttural vocalizations unlike known wildlife and a skunky odor at a suspected bedding area.

The witness emphasized the figure was much larger than a bear.

The witness was driving home from work in the early morning when a large creature crossed the highway in front of the car. The creature was walking upright and covered the road in three large steps. As the witness drove past the location, a musty odor like wet canvas was noticed.

A patch of brown fur was glimpsed ahead about six feet off the ground moving back into the woods, with no road crossing seen. A chained dog across the road was barking toward the woods and appeared agitated. On riding past the spot again shortly after, the smell was gone and nothing further was seen or heard.

A woman took three children to play in a shallow river area in the evening. After hearing responsive whistling sounds and a tree being pushed down nearby, the group fled to their vehicle. The child who briefly lagged behind later described seeing a brown hair-covered creature walking toward him.

The witness went outside at night to take out trash and felt she was being watched. She turned to see a large hairy bipedal figure standing near a truck, staring at her. They stayed in the area for two more weeks with no further sightings but reported smelling it several times.

A group of girls on a summer-camp hike entered a swamp-like area where they heard twigs snap, smelled a foul odor, and saw a dark hairy bipedal creature moving among trees. The creature paused and looked toward them after one girl screamed, and the group fled. A counselor later told them it was a bear, which the witness doubted because it walked on two legs and was in a swamp.

They heard a very loud deep roaring and screaming vocalization approaching from across the creek, repeated several times, with breaking branches as it circled and then followed them as they fled. The witness was hiking down into high lake country when a strong bad odor caught attention. About 15 to 20 feet away at the tree line, an upright dark-haired creature stood looking at the witness. The creature turned and quickly left over a small hill into forest cover within seconds. The frightened witness left the area westward and has not returned.
