While working late on a house remodel, the Michigan guest and his father heard a very deep bark and howls. They looked out and saw a large four-foot-tall canine-like animal on all fours run from the pond area toward the house and off into the cornfield.

Around midnight in early fall, the witness was in bed watching TV at home when he heard loud howls through closed windows, followed by ape-like grunts.
