The witness and two companions snuck out on a 4-wheeler into woods behind a house on a snowy night. They noticed a dead-like odor and heard monkey-like chattering, then saw a tall hair-covered biped walk toward them while growling. The group fled on the vehicle and on foot as the animal followed to within arm's reach without touching them, apparently driving them from the area.
Daylight sighting by hunters near Windsor
Two people hunting deer near a creek crossing watched a shape first mistaken for a stump move, crouch, stand upright and stretch. The witness observed through a rifle scope an apelike face and hair-covered body moving along the creek for about ten minutes. As they backed away, a growl and a single loud scream were heard from its direction before it ran and leapt across the creek, after which the pair left.

Hearing loud bipedal movement approaching inside the treeline, the witness called out thinking it was the companion. After wild dogs chased something over a nearby coke pile and were thrown off, a massive wolf-like creature appeared on the mound, then confronted the group, stood upright, growled, and followed them into the building up to the third floor while drooling heavily. A passing train sounded its horn, frightening the creature away, after which the group waited before fleeing on foot back to a friend's house.

After a loud crash from a tree, something bipedal circled them making growling sounds and then gave a loud roar they could feel. It stepped into the spotlight as a massive white figure, climbed a bank in three steps and rushed their truck before they fled, later returning in daylight to find impressions on the bank.

The witness was bass fishing along a lake bank when a commotion in nearby woods drew attention. A large upright apelike creature about seven to eight feet tall emerged, made whoop sounds and a low growl, snapped off a small tree and slapped the ground while staring with flexed muscles. The witness slowly backed away looking down, the animal followed a short distance then turned, paused near a bushy spot, and walked into the woods. The witness rejoined companions who laughed, and has not returned to the area.

They reported an overpowering odor, snapping twigs, loud crashing through trees, a low growl, heavy footsteps they could feel, and a loud thud. As they ran back to their car, the reporter glimpsed huge hairy legs and a large hand with long dark nails, then they drove away quickly after the car lurched.

The witness was deer hunting from a tree stand before dawn when an extremely loud roar that rose into a piercing scream sounded directly underneath the stand. The witness remained still until daylight, hearing no movement despite very dry leaves, and saw nothing. After daylight the witness found no tracks, spoor, or hair in the area.

The witness and a companion were fishing from shore at a remote northern campground when they watched a tall, reddish-brown, hairy creature stand and walk down an embankment on a peninsula. After discussing the sighting and finding nearby cabins boarded and barricaded, they heard heavy footsteps and a loud growl escalating to a scream near their tent that night. They spent the night in their truck and left early the next morning.

The pair fled in their truck, leaving gear behind, and returned briefly at midday the next day to retrieve it.

The witness arrived before dawn to bowhunt from a tree stand overlooking a creek. After sunrise the surrounding wildlife fell silent, several rocks were thrown toward the stand from behind, followed by loud footsteps, branch breaking, heavy breathing and a musky odor approaching to within a few yards behind the witness. After remaining behind the witness for several minutes and emitting a snarling growl, the unseen presence retreated uphill, after which wildlife sounds resumed and the witness left the area.

The witness was deer hunting alone in the morning when he heard an extremely loud low growling sound from dense cover upslope. He could not see the source even with binoculars, but saw branches shaking about nine to ten feet up and two basketball-sized rocks roll out of the cover toward him. Feeling watched and unnerved, he walked out calmly the way he had come while the sound continued until he rounded a bend in the trail.

After hearing brush-breaking and grunting sounds for some time, the witness was rushed by a large upright figure that came within about 10 feet while making loud vocalizations. The witness was driving toward the beach at dusk when a large hairy creature stood in the road. The car glanced the creature, then the witness stopped and the creature got up, approached, and chased the car, striking the rear. The witness drove away and later found a dented quarter panel with hair, a shattered spoiler, and a lingering foul smell on the car.

Late at night the witness's family was at home when a dog outside sounded distressed. A relative went out, saw a large shadow by the shed, retrieved a firearm, then saw something flee down the driveway and fired, after which a loud growl-howl was heard followed by silence. The next morning the family found unfamiliar footprints and believed the visitor had leapt across a nearby canal.

The crew was camped on the bank of Blackwater Creek eating dinner when a splash revealed their cooler in the creek was missing. Shortly after, a companion returned shaken saying something had watched him from across the creek. The witness shone a spotlight across the narrow creek and the group saw a large hair-covered biped stand up, its eyes shining, block the light with its forearm, vocalize, and flee. The men then left for a motel for the remainder of the job.
